Adams Farm 7th Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Release
Date April 3, 2006
Wilmington, Vermont - Family fun and games, plus one really big bunny highlight
the seventh annual Easter Egg Hunt at Adams Farm on Saturday, April 15, 2006
from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. In
addition, the Annual Bedding Sale features a 20% off sale on all handmade
quilts.
This popular
event keeps families coming back year after year, as there is a full schedule
of old- fashioned fun for all ages. Egg
Hunts are organized into three separate age
categories, with two hunts scheduled for each age group during the day. Eggs are hidden in
the Indoor Livestock Barn among the friendly farm animals, along with a golden
egg for a special surprise. Traditional
games, such as the Egg & Spoon Race, the Egg Toss, and an Easter Piñata
offer prizes and many laughs. More
egg-citing games, decorating fresh farm eggs, crafts, stories, and a visit from
the Easter Bunny himself round out the schedule.
It is
springtime on the farm, which means baby animals and maple syrup. Visit with all the babies, who love cuddles
and bottles. Taste the different grades
of fresh maple syrup and stock up on this true Vermont gold. Check out the Fiber Arts Loft, where yarns
spun from Adams Farm’s own flocks can be found, along
with spinning, knitting, and other fiber arts supplies.
Egg Hunts are scheduled as follows: ages 1-3 years old at 11:00 am and 1:30 pm; ages 4-7 years old at 11:30 am and 2:00 pm; ages 8-12 years old at 12:00 and 2:30 pm.
