March Maple Merriment and More

WILMINGTON, VT – It’s that special time of year, when everyone’s idea of fancy turns to maple syrup. Adams Farm in Wilmington, Vermont will celebrate the season of sap with a Maple Open House Weekend March 25-26, 2006.

During the day on the Saturday and Sunday of March 25-26, visitors to Adams Farm can learn about maple trees, maple syrup, maple sugar, & cooking with maple, as well as a chance to taste the old Vermont tradition of sugar-on-snow, complete with pickles. The Indoor Livestock Barn will be open to meet, greet, and feed the friendly farm animals. Adams Farm, including the Adams Farm Store and Fiber Arts Loft, is open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Adams Farm is a working sixth-generation farm in southern Vermont, offering the public seasonal activities and agricultural interactive experiences for the whole family, as well as a complete Farm Store and Quilt & Fiber Arts Loft.
